At 10:30 a.m., Christine Quinn discusses budget priorities at the Rosenthal Senior Center.

At 11 a.m.
Elected officials protest proposed cut of city port jobs, on City Hall steps.

NYPIRG releases their annual retail report, on the 4th floor of 9 Murray Street.

Transportation Alternatives releases their survey: "Curbing Cars: Shopping, Parking and Pedestrian Space in Soho, New York" at the corner of Prince Street near Green Street.

At noon
Betsy Gotbaum and Bianca Jagger and tenant advocates discuss household mold at a rally on the City Hall steps.

The City Council has a hearing on waterfront development in Red Hook and Sunset Park at City Hall.

Author Max Boot discusses his book, "War Made New: Technology, Warfare and the Course of History" at the Harvard Club.

At 2:30 p.m., the state Democratic Committee holds a special meeting to elect new state and executive committee chairs, at the Sheraton.

And at 7:30 p.m., the NYYRC meets at the Grand Hyatt with Max Boot, who will discuss his book, and around 9 p.m., I'll talk about blogs and the 2006 elections.
